Wichman Selected WIAC Golfer Of The Week
UW-Oshkosh's Emily Wichman (Jr. • Neenah) has been named
the WIAC Women's Golfer of the Week for play during the period of
Sept. 7-13.
Wichman was UW-Oshkosh's top individual finisher as the Titans
placed fifth in their own invitational held Saturday and Sunday
(Sept. 12-13) at the Oshkosh Country Club.
Wichman and Brittany Puta of Carroll University shared third place
in the individual competition with 170 strokes, 24-over-par.
Wichman achieved her 36-hole score by taking 87 shots on Saturday
and 83 on Sunday.
UW-Whitewater won the seven-team tournament with 687 strokes,
103-over-par. UW-Oshkosh finished fifth with 782.
