The Titans (6-2, 2-1 WIAC) overcame a four-point halftime deficit by hitting their first four shots of the second period. Holding a 46-40 cushion, UW-Oshkosh didn't miss from the field for seven minutes. The lead expanded to 64-45 with 6:49 remaining.

The Titans responded with a 9-2 spurt of their own that featured a three-pointer by Wenig. Kitzke swished a runner just before intermission to pull her team within 34-30.

After the break, UW-Oshkosh made 13 of its first 15 shots from the field. Wenig buried a long three-pointer as the shot clock expired to put the Titans in front, 42-40. UW-Oshkosh then made three straight three-point shots, with Ashley Neustifter's (Fr. • Oshkosh) hoop making it 55-42 with 11 minutes left.

The margin remained in the teens for the last nine minutes. UW-Platteville cut its deficit to 64-51 on a pair of free throws by Alyssa Krajco.

Both teams secured 31 rebounds, but the Titans took the turnover column, 10-16.

UW-Oshkosh finished the game shooting 50 percent from the field (24-48) and behind the three-point arc (6-12). Kitzke made 7-of-10 free throws as the Titans shot 74 percent (17-23) at the charity stripe.
