Beyer Passes 300 Career Wins

OSHKOSH, Wis.- With a win in the first game against Trine University (Ind.) on May 24, UW-Oshkosh softball head coach Scott Beyer joined the 300-wins club, further cementing his name in the Titans' history book.

Beyer's Titans defeated Trine 3-1 on May 24 in his 300th victory, forcing an "if-necessary" Game 3 of the Angola Super Regional which Oshkosh won to claim its third Super Regional trophy and advance to the World Series for the second time in four seasons.

Under his tutelage, Oshkosh has made five NCAA postseason appearances; 2017, 2018, 2021, 2023 and 2024. The Titans won the La Crosse Regional and competed in the Angola Super Regional in 2017, competed in the St. Paul Regional in 2018, won the Eau Claire Regional and finished fifth in the finals in 2021 and hosted the 2023 Oshkosh Regional. In 2024, The Titans won the Oshkosh Regional and the Angola Super Regional and made the third World Series appearance in program history, earning a win over Virginia Wesleyan University on May 30 and placing fifth in the NCAA Tournament.

Beyer owns a 302-120 record over his 11 seasons at the helm in Oshkosh, which is most in program history, fifth-most in WIAC history and third among active coaches in the league. His .716 winning percentage leads the WIAC all-time coaches list for those with at least 170 wins. He has now posted 11 consecutive winning seasons and has at least 23 wins in every season with the execption of the shortened 2020 campaign. UW-Oshkosh set both program and WIAC records this season as it tallied 25 straight wins to open the season and 45 total wins. Both records had stood since UW-Stevens Point set them at 23 and 44 games during the 1998 season.
