Nemetz Named WIAC x Kwik Trip Pitcher Of The Week

MADISON, Wis.- Sydney Nemetz of UW-Oshkosh softball was named the WIAC x Kwik Trip Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday (Mar. 5).

Nemetz (Jr. • Marinette) pitched three-hit and one-hit complete game wins over Loras College (Iowa) and Edgewood College (Wis.) at the UW-Oshkosh Rec Plex Dome during the week, with 14 strikeouts. She threw seven innings against the Duhawks on Saturday (Mar. 2), striking out eight batters, while allowing just three hits and a walk. Her second appearance came against the Eagles on Sunday (Mar. 3), where she threw all five innings with six strikeouts, one hit and a walk.
