Three Titans Named to CSC Academic All-District

OSHKOSH, Wis.—Three members of the UW-Oshkosh Titans Softball squad have earned Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators, formerly CoSIDA, on May 16.

Brianna Davis, Morgan Rau, and Sophie Wery all earned honors from the organization.

Davis, an outfielder from Oshkosh, Wis, holds a 3.95 cumulative grade point average (GPA) in biomedical science. This season, Davis has .387 batting average, scored 22 runs, recorded 19 RBIs, and leads the team in stolen bases (13).

Rau, an infielder from Downers Grove, Ill, holds a 3.85 GPA in elementary and middle school education. Rau holds an .290 batting average, with 22 runs scored, and 26 RBIs. Rau has a fielding percentage of .949 with four double plays credited. Rau leads the WIAC in walks this season (27),

Wery, a catcher from Seymour, Wis, holds a 3.52 GPA in rehabilitation science.  With a batting average of .368, Wery has scored 33 runs and leads the team in RBIs at 46. Wery has 215 Pos this season with a fielding percentage of 1.000. Wery leads the WIAC in RBIs and is second in home runs (nine).

The 2022-23 Academic All-District® Baseball and Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball and softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 6 for softball and June 7 for baseball.
