Titans Softball Set to Conclude Non-Conference Action This Week

OSHKOSH, Wis.—The nationally ranked UW-Oshkosh Titans softball squad concludes non-conference action this week, taking on Carroll and Marian Universities.  

The Titans start action off against Carroll University on April 18 for a doubleheader starting at 3 p.m. at the UW-Oshkosh softball park. 

The Titans will conclude non-conference action as they travel to Marian University on April 19 for a 4 p.m. doubleheader in Fond du Lac. This game is a reschedule from April 12. 

In the poll released on April 11, the Titans moved up the National Fastpitch Coaching Associations top-25 poll, landing at No. 18.

Game Day Information

This year, tickets are being sold at the gate and not ahead of time. Adult ticket prices at $7.00, senior citizens (55 and up) at $5.00, and students are $3.00. UWO and WIAC students get into the game for free, with their student ID.

Looking at the Stats (As of April 16, 2023)

The Titans are No. 1 in the nation for ERA, sitting at 0.72, and hold the top-position in win-loss percentage at 96.2. The Titans are second in the nation in fielding percentage at 98.1%. Sitting at eighth in the nation for shutouts with 10, the Titans also hold a top-10 position in WHIP at .89. 

Sydney Nemetz and Maddie Fink are in the top-10 for ERA in the nation and sit at No. 2 and No. 3 in the WIAC.

Fink leads the WIAC in complete games with 11 and is in a three-way tie for most games started  at 13 in the WIAC.  Sophie Wery leads the conference in RBIs (27).
