Ritter Named the 2023 Tucci/NFCA Division III Watchlist

LOUISVILLE, KY—Senior first baseman/outfielder Hannah Ritter was one of 141 student-athletes named to the 2023 Tucci/NFCA Division III Player and Pitcher of the Year watchlist.

Ritter, who comes from Marengo, Illinois, leads the UW-Oshkosh Titans with a batting average of .508 and 33 hits. Ritter has scored 12 runs for the Titans, recorded 12 RBIs, and has on on-base percentage of .535. Ritter has recorded at least one hit in 17 of the Titans 20 games so far this season.

Ritter was named to the NFCA Player Watchlist in 2022 and earned NFCA All-Region honors in 2021 and 2022.

Ritter is one of three WIAC players and one of six players from the state of Wisconsin to be named to the list.

The Titans open WIAC play on April 7 as they compete at UW-La Crosse. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. at the North Campus Field.

About the Tucci/NFCA Division III Player and Pitcher of the Year Watchlist

Headlining the list are 24 returning NFCA All-Americans and new this year, the list is broken down into the 10 NCAA regions.

Voted on by the NFCA's Division III All-America Committee, the 2023 Tucci/NFCA Player and Pitcher of the Year will be announced on June 9. All student-athletes are eligible for the end-of-the-season award and do not have to be on this list to be considered by the committee.
