Fadness Named WIAC Softball Player Of The Week

The WIAC has named UW-Oshkosh first baseman Tess Fadness its Position Player of the Week and UW-Stout righthander Tori Workman its Pitcher of the Week for softball games played April 21-27.

Fadness used five multi-hit games to compile a .609 (14-23) batting average during UW-Oshkosh's doubleheaders with UW-Whitewater, UW-Eau Claire and UW-Superior.

Fadness compiled a slugging percentage of .913. She tallied eight runs batted in, five runs scored, four doubles and one home run.

During a pair of losses to UW-Whitewater on April 23, Fadness went 5-for-8 with one RBI. She went 3-for-5 in the 14-11 loss to the Warhawks.

In the split against UW-Eau Claire on April 26, Fadness went 3-for-7 with one RBI. She marked two hits during a 7-5 win over the Blugolds.

During victories of 17-3 and 13-3 over UW-Superior on April 27, Fadness went 6-for-8 with a homer, two doubles and six RBI. She totaled three hits in each game.
