Two Titans Qualify For National Meet

OSHKOSH, Wis.- Two UW-Oshkosh cross country runners were selected to run in the NCAA Division III national championships on Nov. 19 at Forest Akers Golf Course in Lansing, Mich. The women's race will start at 10 a.m. CST, with the men's race following at 11 a.m. CST.

Amelia Lehman and Steven Potter each qualified for nationals in Saturday's north regional held in Northfield, Minn., both finishing in 12th place. Lehman finished in 22:35.4, and Potter ran a 24:55.2. They both qualified as individuals, the only runners that will head to Lansing for the Titans.

The Titans are joined by WIAC competitors, UW-La Crosse and UW-Stout as team at-large selections in the men's race and UW-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse, and UW-Stevens Point in the women's race as at-large selections. Mason Shea of UW-Eau Claire joins Potter in the men's race as an individual qualifier.

In the 2021 national championships held in Louisville, Ky. on Nov. 20, Hannah Lorenz finished in 31st with a time of 21:41.6, earning her All-America honors. She was joined in the women's race by Alexandria Demco, who finished with a time of 23:02.6. Seven Titans competed in the men's race, led by Mitchell Bradford, who took 79th with a time of 24:41.2.
