Titans Headed to St. Olaf for North Region Championships

OSHKOSH, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh women's and men's cross country teams will be at St. Olaf College (Minn.) to participate in the NCAA Division II North Regional Championships on Saturday. 

The North Regional Championships will feature 39 schools from Wisconsin and Minnesota, with nearly 600 runners competing between the two races.

Oshkosh is joined by six of their seven WIAC competitors, including UW-La Crosse, who won both races in the WIAC Conference meet on Oct. 29.

Meygan Benzing, Tricia Cich, Gwen Feitl, Sydney Fricke, Libby Geisness, Amelia Lehman, Cyna Madigan, Josie Makurat, Devon Tomas, and Lauren Urban will be competing for Oshkosh in the women's race, which begins at 11 a.m. Lehman took third in the conference meet, finishing in 22:13.2 and being named to the All-WIAC first team.

Owen Bostwick, Cameron Cullen, Jason Ford, Joe Hertel, Dwight Hosni, Joe Kehoe, Jake Krause, Steven Potter, Paul Proteau, and John Thill will be competing for Oshkosh in the men's race, which begins at 12:15 p.m. Potter was Oshkosh's top finisher in the conference meet, earning ninth place with a time of 25:10.5, which earned him All-WIAC second team honors.

2021 North Regional

Oshkosh earned two top-ten finishes in the 2021 North Regional in Colfax, from Hannah Lohrenz and Alexandria Damco, with the Titans placing fifth.
