Cross Country Teams Set to Travel to Whitewater for Warhawk Open

The UW-Oshkosh cross country teams are set to head to Whitewater to compete in the Whitewater open, hosted by UW-Whitewater on Friday. The meet is held at the UW-Whitewater Cross Country Course.

Looking at the Titan Men

Jake Krause led the men's team in the UW-La Crosse Jim Drews Invitational last Saturday, finishing with a time of 25:35.4, good for 20th place in a field of 440 runners.

Joe Kehoe and Steven Potter finished with strong performances as well, with 25:37.8 (24th) and 25:41.4 (26th) times, respectively. 

Looking at the Titan Women

Amelia Lehman led the women's team in the Jim Drews Invitational with a 4th place finish (22:12.1), her second finish within the top ten this season.

Cyna Madigan had another strong performance with a 22:58.0 time that earned her 14th place.

Current National Rankings

Both teams are currently ranked 6th in the North Region by the USTFCCCA. The women's team stayed at six from last week, and the men's team moved up to sixth from seventh in last week's poll.
