UWO Men's Cross Country to Compete at Jim Drews

OSHKOSH, Wis.—After claiming the title at the Gene Davis Invitational on October 8, the UW-Oshkosh Titans men's cross country squad will compete at the Jim Drews Invitational, hosted by UW-La Crosse on Oct. 15.

The Titans will start their race at 12 p.m. as one of 28 men's teams to compete. The Titans will race on the Maple Grove Venues, LLC in West Salem, Wisconsin, which is set to host the WIAC Championships later this month.

Paul Proteau, Steven Potter, and Jason Ford have been some of the Titans will strong performances this season.

Proteau was the top collegiate finisher at the Gene Davis Invitational, earning WIAC and UWO athlete of the week honors. Proteau ran the fastest time for a true freshman from UWO since 2017 at the meet.

Potter has been among the top-5 finishers for the Titans this season, while Ford led the Titans at the St. Olaf Invitational.

The Titans are ranked seventh in the North Region, according to the USTFCCCA.
