
Dolnik Leads Titans At Red Hawk Open
Ryan Dolnik, Noah Bruehl and Michael Kreuser ran to top seven finishes for the UW-Oshkosh men's cross country team at the Ripon College Red Hawk Open Friday (Nov. 5) at the Tuscumbia Golf Course in Green Lake.
Dolnik completed the 8,000-meter course with a fifth-place time of 27:38.61 while Bruehl finished sixth in 27:39.27 and Kreuser seventh in 27:41.85.
UW-Stevens Point's Ryan Reed won the race of 52 runners with his time of 27:13.09. UW-Platteville's Troy Humpal finished second with a time of 27:32.17 while UW-Stevens Point's Marcus Johnson placed third in 27:33.99 and John Lee fourth in 27:38.40.
UW-Oshkosh also had Joe Hertel finish 21st with a time of 28:25.75, Noah O'Neill 32nd in 28:52.39, Zachary Nelson 40th in 30:09.72 and Jeremiah Wilson 49th in 32:36.84.
UW-Oshkosh finished third in the four-team meet with 59 points. UW-Stevens Point claimed the team title with 28 points while UW-Platteville placed second with 48 and Ripon College fourth with 94. All four squads rested their top runners in preparation for next Saturday's (Nov. 13) NCAA Division III North Regional at the Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax.
