Momont Named USTFCCCA North Region Men’s Assistant Coach Of The Year

NEW ORLEANS, La.- Assistant track & field coach Sylviann Momont was named the US Track & Field and Cross Country (USTFCCCA) North Region Men's Assistant Coach of the Year on Wednesday (Mar. 6).

Momont, in her second year as assistant coach at UW-Oshkosh, coached Titan athletes to eight top-20 national rankings, led by three in the heptathlon's top-10. Five of her event groups finished top-5 in the national #EventSquad rankings, including a trio of No. 1 units: high jump, long jump, and heptathlon.

Momont is the second assistant coach to win the award for the Titans during the men's indoor season. Pat Ebel, who coached the throwing events, earned the honor in 2012.
