
Titans Capture Four Events At UW-Platteville Invitational
Corey Wilch clocked one of the nation's fastest 400-meter hurdles times during the UW-Platteville Men's Track & Field Invitational on Friday and Saturday (April 11-12) in Platteville.
No team scores were kept at the meet.
Wilch won the 400-meter hurdles in 53.14, which ranks fourth in the country this season.
The Titans posted victories in three other events, with Brian Beaudo taking the 400-meter run in 48.64, McKena Ramos clinching the 800-meter run in 1:52.71 and John McCann prevailing in the high jump at 6-8.75.
Sean Kutz placed third in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 14:21.29 that also ranks fourth in the NCAA Division III.
During the shot put, Nick Grosskopf earned third place with his 52-10.75 and Jeremy Brandt listed fourth at 52-9.5.
Capturing fourth place was Naji Allan in the 200-meter dash at 21.85, Mike Servais in the 400-meter run at 49.83, Matt Lawrence in the 800-meter run at 1:54.61 and Joe Brunner with a hammer throw of 188-10.
UW-Oshkosh heads to La Crosse for the Eagle Invitational on Friday (April 18).
