Titans Set To Return For 60th Season

OSHKOSH, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh men's swimming & diving team returns for its 60th season, kicking off 2023-24 competition at UW-Eau Claire on Saturday (Oct. 14) at 1 p.m. in the McPhee Physical Education Center pool.

Saturday's season opener is the first of 10 duals scheduled for this season. The Titans will also compete at invitationals hosted by UW-Milwaukee, Lawrence University, Carthage College and the WIAC Championship.

UW-Oshkosh is set to host five meets in Albee Hall in 2023-24 – Carroll University on Oct. 28, UW-Whitewater on Nov. 4, Ripon College and Milwaukee School of Engineering on Jan. 19, UW-La Crosse on Jan. 20 and Loras College (Iowa) on Jan. 27.

On the road, the Titans will visit St. Norbert College (Nov. 18), Lawrence (Jan. 6), UW-Stevens Point (Jan. 12) and Carthage (Jan. 13).

The Titans will complete their schedule Oct. 21 at the Wisconsin Showcase Invite, Nov. 11 at the Lawrence Gene Davis Invitational, Nov. 30-Dec. 2 at the Carthage Classic.

UW-Oshkosh will compete for its first WIAC Championship on Feb. 14-17 at the Schroeder Aquatic Center in Brown Deer. The NCAA Division III Diving Zones are set for Feb. 23-24 with the location to be determined and the NCAA Division III Championship will be held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C. from Mar. 20-23.

UW-Stevens Point won its 23rd consecutive conference championship in 2023 with 907 points. UW-Eau Claire took second 853 points, followed by UW-La Crosse with 686, UW-Whitewater with 432 and UW-Oshkosh with 228.

Ninth-year head coach Christopher Culp returns seven of the 11 letterwinners from the 2022-23 team. The returning letterwinners are senior Chase Millam, juniors Drew Davis, Ben Knoeck and Cade Millam and sophomores Ethan DeGroot, Damen Seremet and CJ Willert.

"The 2023-24 roster has doubled from last year filling in a lot of gaps." Culp said on Thursday. "Although we have a very young team, we are thrilled at the potential that this team holds. We are looking forward to the growth on competitiveness of this group. We are looking to turn some heads this season."
