Titans Set for Action at the WIAC Championships

OSHKOSH, Wis.—The UW-Oshkosh Titans men's swimming and diving program is set to compete at the 2023 WIAC Swimming and Diving Championships February 15-18 in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. Action will take place at the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center as the Titans serve as tournament hosts. 

Tickets are available for purchase online only with two options available. Spectators can purchase day passes or all session passes to watch the event.

Ethan DeGroot, Chase Millam, Damen Seremet, CJ Willert, Hayden Freeman, Andrew Copeland, and the 200 medley relay team of Willert, Seremet, Copeland, and Ben Knoeck recorded season best times against Ripon. Joey Jurva recorded season best dives against Ripon on the 1 and 3-meter boards.

Top Times (Best Times Only)

Seremet sits at No. 10 in the conference in the 50 freestyle and holds top-20 spots in the 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke. 

Willert holds three top-20 spots in the conference. Willert sits at No. 9 in the conference in the 100 backstroke, No. 18 in the 200 backstroke and No. 18 in the 200 IM.

On the diving board, Jurva sits at No. 12 in the 1-meter dives, six dives in the WIAC. Jurva sits at No. 11 for 1-meter diving, 11 dives. On the 3-meter board, Jurva sits at No. 12 with six dives and at No. 6 for 11 dives.  

In the distance races, Ethan Almstadt, Millam and DeGroot have top-25 times in the 1000 freestyle in the conference. Millam and DeGroot have top-20 times in the 1650 freestyle.
