Wilke Earns Fifth WIAC Diver Of The Week Award Of Season
UW-Oshkosh's Matt Wilke picked up his fifth WIAC Men's Diver of the Week Award of the 2017-18 season after recording a pair of top-five finishes at the University of Illinois at Chicago Diving Invitational held Feb. 3 in Chicago, Ill. Wilke's latest award was for meets held Jan. 29 - Feb. 4.
Wilke finished fourth among 12 participants in the 1-meter diving with a score of 274.05 and fifth among 12 contestants in the 3-meter diving with a value of 268.80.
Andrew Lewarchick of the University of Illinois at Chicago won the 1-meter category with 318.60 points while Heath Ogawa of Lake Forest College (Ill.) won the 3-meter division with 343.20.
UW-La Crosse's Ryan Jessen was chosen as the WIAC's Men's Swimmer of the Week.
