Titans Win Eight Events To Top Vikings

UW-Oshkosh swept the top three places in the 100-yard breaststroke during a 122-77 win over the Lawrence University men's swimming & diving team on Friday (Dec. 7) in Albee Hall.

Patrick Keleny (Fr. • Madison) notched two of the Titans' eight victories on the night. He prevailed in the 100-yard breaststroke with a 1:07.44. In the 100-yard butterfly, Keleny posted a winning time of 56.47.

Zach Seelman (Jr. • Sturgeon Bay) was victorious in both diving events. He scored a 172.75 on the one-meter board and a 168.70 on the three-meter plank.

The 200-yard medley relay group of Keleny, Cole Becker (So. • Menomonee Falls), Andrew Bores (Fr. • Oshkosh) and Brian Markovich (Sr. • Colgate) touched the wall with a first-place tally of 1:46.46.

UW-Oshkosh also received individual triumphs from Markovich and Eddie Dominguez (Sr. • Milwaukee). Markovich conquered his 200-yard individual medley challengers with a 2:10.93. In the 50-yard freestyle, Dominguez booked a 23.26.

Dominguez was part of the 200-yard freestyle relay, which marked a winning figure of 1:46.52. Joining him on the team were Nelson Figueroa (So. • Pleasant Prairie), Quin Lenz (Jr. • Oshkosh) and Bobby Theer (So. • Green Oaks).

UW-Oshkosh returns to the pool on Jan. 12 against UW-La Crosse in Albee Hall.
