Titans Dominate UW-Stevens Point Diving Invitational

Mose Coffee (So. • Glendale) and Tim Kuckuk (So. • Plymouth) each won an event as four UW-Oshkosh athletes competed in the UW-Stevens Point Diving Invitational on Saturday (Dec. 4) in Stevens Point. No team scores were kept at the meet.

Coffee captured first place in the one-meter event with a score of 443.2. Just behind, Kuckuk took second with a mark of 420.6. The Titans also had Alex Socha (Jr. • Pleasant Prairie) place fourth at 344.2 and Zack Seelman (Fr. • Sturgeon Bay) fifth at 178.

Kuckuk redeemed himself with a title in the three-meter dive after earning a 425.2 tally. Socha followed in the second position with a score of 371.1. Kuckuk placed third in both diving events a year ago.

UW-Stevens Point’s Leo Hursh finished third in both the one-meter and three-meter competitions. Hursh marked a 365.25 on the one-meter board and a 326.35 in the three-meter event.

UW-Oshkosh returns to the pool to host Lawrence University on Friday (Dec. 10) in Albee Hall.
