Devine Dives To A Pair Of UW-Stevens Point Invitational Titles

Winnebago, Ill.) was the standout performer as he captured both
diving events at the UW-Stevens Point Invitational held Saturday
(Dec. 5) in Stevens Point. No team
scores were kept at the meet.
Devine scored 498.35 points to win the one-meter diving. Jeff
Meyer of UW-Stevens Point finished second among the nine
contestants with 420.5 points, while Tim Kuckuk (Fr. •
Plymouth) of UW-Oshkosh placed third with 393.1, Trey Edgerle of
UW-La Crosse fourth with 366.45 and Jake Brandt of UW-Stevens Point
fifth with 339.20.
In the three-meter diving, Devine tallied a winning score of 521.7
points. Casey Chamberlain of UW-La Crosse ranked second among the
eight participants with 380.7 points, while Kuckuk finished third
with 375.05, Edgerle fourth with 352.9 and Meyer fifth with 338.35.
UW-Oshkosh's David Krause (Fr. • Lake Geneva) placed seventh
with 224.9 points.
Devine, Krause and Kuckuk will compete at the UW-Oshkosh Diving
Invitational on Saturday (Dec. 12) in Albee Hall.
