Anderson Sets Two School Records At Falcon Invitational

Dalton Anderson (Fr. • Elkhorn) broke two school records to highlight UW-Oshkosh's list of performances at the Falcon Men's Swimming Invitational held Friday and Saturday (Dec. 4-5) in Minneapolis, Minn. No team scores were kept at the meet.

Anderson set UW-Oshkosh marks with his first-place time of 1:57.80 in the 200-yard individual medley and second-place performance of 1:56.93 in the 200-yard butterfly. Spencer Robbins of Luther College (Iowa) won the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:55.78.

Anderson also swam to a first-place time of 51.95 in the 100-yard butterfly and a second-place effort of 48.14 in the 100-yard freestyle. Taylor Nelson of Luther College won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 46.81.

Anderson wasn't finished as he helped the Titans place eighth in both the 400-yard freestyle and 400-yard medley relays.

In the 400-yard freestyle relay, Anderson, Matt Engelhardt (Fr. • DeForest), Kent Ludeman (Sr. • Cedarburg) and Jon Streich (So. • Hubertus) posted a time of 3:23.82. In the 400-yard medley relay, Anderson, Engelhardt, Streich and Ryan Ronayne (Fr. • Fond du Lac) registered a time of 3:48.74.

A few members of the Titans will compete at the UW-Oshkosh Diving Invitational on Saturday (Dec. 10) in Albee Hall. The entire UW-Oshkosh squad will be in action when the Titans host Ripon College on Jan. 9 in Albee Hall.
