UW-Oshkosh will compete in the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship for the 14th time after receiving one of 19 at-large berths into the 61-team tournament on Monday (Nov. 9).

Competing as a Division III independent member, UW-Oshkosh received an at-large berth into the NCAA Championship after extending its string of consecutive winning seasons to 31. The Titans, who had a 12-game unbeaten streak from Sept. 4 to Oct. 11, recorded a double-digit win total for the third straight year and the 26th time in the program's 32 seasons.

St. Olaf College earned an automatic berth into the tournament by winning the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Playoffs with a 2-0 victory over the University of St. Thomas (Minn.) in the title match. The Oles, who finished fourth in this year's MIAC regular-season standings, will be making their seventh NCAA postseason appearance.

Macalester College, ranked 11th in the country by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, received an at-large berth into the tournament after suffering its only loss of the season by a 2-1 score to the University of St. Thomas in the semifinal round of the MIAC Playoffs. The Scots, who won this year's MIAC regular-season title, are making their 12th NCAA Championship appearance. Macalester College is ranked 14th in the country by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America

The College of St. Scholastica, the highest-scoring team in the nation with 5.38 goals per contest, clinched an automatic berth into the NCAA postseason by winning its two games in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Tournament by a combined 15-0 score, including a 5-0 decision over UW-Superior in the title match. The Saints, who won this year's UMAC regular-season title for the sixth consecutive season, will be in the NCAA postseason for the fifth time.

Regional winners will advance to one of four sectional tournaments on Nov. 20-21 or 21-22. Sectional sites will be determined after regional play has concluded.

Winners of the four sectionals will advance to the semifinals and final on Dec. 4-5 at the Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City, Mo.
