Mahoney Named WIAC x Kwik Trip Athlete Of The Week

MADISON, Wis.- Will Mahoney was named the WIAC x Kwik Trip men's basketball Athlete of the Week for the first time in his career on Tuesday (Nov. 28).

Mahoney averaged 21.5 points and 9.0 rebounds in the Titans' wins against Edgewood College (Wis.) and No. 21-ranked North Park University (Ill.) during the week, shooting 44.8 percent (13-of-29) from the field, 45.5 percent (five-of-11) from three and 75 percent (12-of-16) from the line. At Edgewood on Nov. 21, he recorded 23 points, making eight of his 15 attempts from the field, a three-point attempt and six three throws. He also pulled in nine rebounds and stole the ball three times. He reached 20 points again against North Park at home on Nov. 25, going four-of-seven from three and six-of-seven from the line, while adding another nine rebounds.
