Borchert Earns NABC All-America First Team Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- Senior forward Levi Borchert was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-America First Team on Wednesday afternoon.

Borchert, who was named to the NABC First Team for the second year in a row, also earned his second consecutive All-District First Team and was named the District 9 Player of the Year. He joins Tim Dworak as the second Titan to be named NABC All-America two times in his career and the first two-time First Team All-American in program history. He is the fourth NABC First Team All-American since 2019, joining Ben Boots (2019), Adam Fravert (2020) and his first nod in 2022.

Borchert, the third back-to-back WIAC Player of the Year winner in program history (Dworak, 2002-03 and Ralph Sims, 1977-78), earned his third All-WIAC First Team nod. He started all 31 of Oshkosh's contests, leading the WIAC with 11.0 rebounds per game and the Titans with 15.2 points per game, while shooting 54.7 percent from the field. He became the 37th member of the Titans' 1,000-point club on December 20 at St. Norbert College (Wis.). He currently sits at 15th with 1,322 points and third with 878 rebounds.

Other members of the First Team include Tyson Cruikshank from Wheaton College (Ill.), Vinny DeAngelo from Swarthmore College (Pa.), Austin Grunder from SUNY Cortland (N.Y.), Jeff Hunter from Keene State College (N.H.), Josiah Johnson from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (Texas), Miles Mallory from Randolph-Macon College (Va.), Ja'Zere Noel from Rowan University (N.J.), Christian Parker from the University of Mount Union (Ohio) and Alex Sobel from Middlebury College (Vt.).

The Second Team was made up of Raheem Anthony, from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, Steven Breeman from Montclair State (N.J.), Jack Clement from Ohio Wesleyan University, Daniel Cook from St. John Fisher University (N.Y.), Jackson Danzing from the University of Scranton (Pa.), Jake Harrison from Western New England (Mass.), Tate Ivanyo from Anderson University (Ind.), Greg Rowson from the University of Mary Washington (Va.), Dylan Thoerner from Tufts University (Mass.) and Calvin Williams IV from the University of St. Thomas (Texas).

Octavio Brito from Keene State, Ryan Broeckel from Wisconsin Lutheran College, EJ Day from Lasell University (Mass.), Isaiah Geathers from Lehman College (N.Y.), Jackson Meshanic from Hobart College (N.Y.), Brendan Mora from Ponoma-Pitzer Colleges (Calif.), Jalen Overway from Calvin University (Mich.), Myles Rasnick from Maryville College (Tenn.), Joshua Van Gorp from Central College (Iowa) and Jalen Vaughns from Neumann College (Pa.) were all named to the Third Team.
