Steckbauer Earns D3hoops.com Team of the Week Honors
OSHKOSH, Wis.- Senior guard Quinn Steckbauer earned national recognition on Tuesday morning, being named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week for games between Jan. 9-15.
Steckbauer averaged 22 points, shooting 64% from the field, 75% from three and 100% from the line in wins against UW-Whitewater and No. 23 UW-La Crosse. After scoring 13 points and going six-of-10 from the field against Whitewater, he set career-bests in points (30), three-pointers made (five) and free throws made (nine) at La Crosse in a 78-73 second half comeback win over the Eagles.
The Titans return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 19 to face UW-Stevens Point at home. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.
