Eight Titans Earn CSC Academic All-District

OSHKOSH, Wis.- Eight members of the UW-Oshkosh football team were named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District on Tuesday (Dec. 19).

Dan Fynaardt (Jr. • Waukesha), Jon Mathieu (So. • Sheboygan Falls), JoJo Nathaniel (So. • Milwaukee), Carson Raddatz (Jr. • Fond du Lac), John Schirger (Jr. • Grafton), Clayton Schwalbe (So. • Waukesha), Eli Tranel (Jr. • West Bend) and Brian White (Sr. • Manhattan, Ill.) all earned All-District honors. Raddatz, Schirger, Schwalbe and White were each named to their second All-District team.

Fynaardt and Schirger are supply chain management majors and Schwalbe and White a physical education majors while Mathieu majors in kinesiology, Nathaniel studies rehabilitation science, Raddatz finance and Tranel secondary education.

The Titans were joined by seven student-athletes from UW-Eau Claire, seven from UW-La Crosse, one from UW-Platteville, six from UW-Stevens Point, eight from UW-Stout and six from UW-Whitewater

The 2022 Academic All-District Football Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field or court and in the classroom. Fynaardt, Mathieu, Nathaniel, Raddatz, Schwalbe, Tranel and White have advanced to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First- and second-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced Jan. 23, 2024.
