Gold Standard Spotlight: Trae Tetzlaff

OSHKOSH, Wis.- Trae Tetzlaff was looking for a way to give back to the community when he started selling shirts. After talking with family and friends, he landed on the adoption agency that brought him to Wisconsin from El Paso, Texas.

Off an 821 yard, seven touchdown season, the All-WIAC First Team wide receiver decided he wanted to start selling shirts with the hopes of selling a few to his friends and family. He has now surpassed 100 sales and isn't looking back. "It's really touching for me and my family. I have so much support; my teammates, coaching staff, my family members, everybody around me." He is supporting Bethany Christian Services with the proceeds and has reached as far as Jeff Van Gundy, the ESPN commentator who talked to the football team after a practice in April. "My main goal is to just put a smile on someone's face, every single day… it's more than just football."

Tetzlaff and the Titans will return to the field on September 2, facing Texas Lutheran University at home at 1:05 p.m.
