Edwards Named to D3football.com Team of the Week

OSHKOSH, Wis.--Sophomore linebacker Bryce Edwards earned a national honor from D3football.com after helping the UW-Oshkosh Titans defense stop the Millsaps offense on September 17.

Edwards made a career-high eight tackles, including five solo and three for loss, to help the Titans to a 41-17 victory at Millsaps. Edwards notched an 8-yard sack on a third-down play in UW-Oshkosh territory early in the second quarter. Edwards later stopped Millsaps running backs for an 8-yard loss early in the third period after a 4-yard loss during the second quarter as the Titans went on to build a 41-3 lead.

On the season, Edwards has tallied 17 tackles (5.7 per game) and 1.5 sacks for 11 yards.

Edwards and the Titans return to competition on October 1, as they open conference play against UW-Platteville at J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.
