Four Titans Presented With All-Region Football Honors

Tory Jandrin, Justin Kasuboski, Mike Olsen and Hunter Schultz of the UW-Oshkosh football team were each named to D3football.com's All-Region 6 Team.

Schultz, a senior guard, was voted to the All-Region 6 Second Team while junior linebacker Jandrin, senior tight end Kasuboski and senior center Olsen were all tabbed to the Third Team. Olsen was named to All-Region First Team in 2019. Jandrin, Kasuboski and Schultz garnered regional accolades for the first time.

Kasuboski, Olsen and Schultz played pivotal roles in helping UW-Oshkosh allow a mere 21 tackles for loss, including nine sacks, while gaining at least 183 rushing yards on six occasions during the Titans' nine games this season. Kasuboski, Olsen and Schultz, who each started every game this year, paved the way for the Titans to average 5.6 yards per carry, score 19 touchdowns on the ground and rank second in the NCAA Division III with 2.50 tackles for loss allowed per contest.

Behind an offensive line featuring the All-Region 6 trio, UW-Oshkosh established season highs of 381 rushing yards during a 43-36 victory at UW-Stout on Oct. 30 and five rushing touchdowns in a 49-17 home win over UW-Stevens Point on Nov. 6.

Kasuboski also played a key role in the UW-Oshkosh passing attack, hauling in career highs of 25 receptions for 259 yards and four touchdowns. Kasuboski, who scored a pair of touchdowns during a 28-10 victory at NCAA Division II member Northern Michigan University on Sept. 11, had a season best four catches and one score against both UW-Whitewater on Oct. 16 and UW-Stout on Oct. 30.

Jandrin's 65 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks all ranked second on the team this season. Jandrin, who also started all nine games on the year, made a season high 17 tackles during the regular season finale against UW-River Falls on Nov. 13 and had 12 stops at UW-La Crosse on Oct. 9.

Jandrin, Olsen and Schultz were each named to the All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference First Team this fall while Kasuboski was a Second Team award winner.

UW-Oshkosh finished the 2021 season with a 6-3 record, including a 4-3 mark in league play to finish fourth in the WIAC standings and extend the program record to 10 consecutive winning seasons. The Titans have now placed fourth or higher in the WIAC 11 straight seasons, clinching league titles in 2012, 2015, 2017 and 2019. UW-Oshkosh went on to reach the national championship game in 2016, the semifinals in both 2012 and 2017, and the quarterfinals in 2015.

Headlining the D3football.com All-Region 6 Team were Linfield College (Ore.) senior quarterback Wyatt Smith (Offensive Player of the Year), UW-Whitewater senior defensive end Mackenzie Balanganayi (Defensive Player of the Year) and UW-Whitewater head coach Kevin Bullis (Coach of the Year).

NCAA Division III realigned Division III football into six regions in 2021. Region 6 is comprised of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, the Northwest Conference, the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference and the WIAC.

D3football.com's All-Region 6 Team, selected in balloting by sports information directors and D3football.com staff, were chosen from 165 overall nominations. A total of 76 players were named to the All-Region 6 Team.
