WIAC Picks Ray As Its Special Teams Player of The Week

UW-Oshkosh punter Nate Ray was selected as the WIAC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance during the Titans' 24-7 football loss to UW-Whitewater on Oct. 25.

The WIAC's leading punter averaged 49 yards on eight punts and recorded one touchback.

Ray's longest punt was a 71-yard boot in the second quarter. He also had punts of 48, 51 and 52 yards.

Ray was also named the WIAC Special Teams Player Of the Week for games played on Oct. 11.

The WIAC chose UW-Stevens Point running back De'Juan Wright as its Offensive Player of the Week and UW-Platteville linebacker Jacob Zilbar as its Defensive Player of the Week.
