Lindsay Selected WIAC Special Teams Player Of The Week

The WIAC has named UW-Oshkosh placekicker Andy Lindsay (Fr. • Howard) as its Special Teams Football Player of the Week. The award was for games played Nov. 10-16.

Serving as UW-Oshkosh's placekicker for the first time this season, Lindsay kicked two field goals and booted the game-winning extra point as the Titans edged UW-River Falls, 13-12, on Nov. 15.

Lindsay gave UW-Oshkosh a 3-0 lead when he kicked a 20-yard field goal with 6:22 left in the first quarter. He then put the Titans ahead 9-6 with a 25-yard field goal at the 7:09 mark of the second period.

Trailing 12-6, UW-Oshkosh tied the game on a two-yard touchdown pass as time expired in the fourth quarter. Following a UW-River Falls timeout, Lindsay kicked the extra point to give UW-Oshkosh the 13-12 victory and its third straight win over the Falcons.
