NCAA Division III Week - Ann Fink Wins First Women's Title
Ann Fink became UW-Oshkosh’s first female national champion when she won the long jump at the 1989 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship.
Fink captured the long jump with her distance of 19-2.25. She also grabbed All-America status with an eighth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles (1:06.69).
The Titans placed second in the team standings – their best finish ever – with 51.5 points. Christopher Newport earned first place with 58.

Fink repeated as an All-American during 1990, finishing eighth in both the long jump (17-8) and the 400-meter hurdles (1:04.44).
Fink ended her career with seven WIAC championships, including a three-peat in the outdoor 400-meter hurdles from 1987-89.
