Fink Named WIAC x Kwik Trip Athlete of the Week

MADISON, Wis.- In the final WIAC x Kwik Athlete of the Week selection of the 2022-23 academic year, Maddie Fink was named the softball pitcher of the week on Tuesday morning for the week of May 1-7.

Fink won both her starts against UW-Stevens Point and UW-Platteville during the week, pitching all 14 innings. She allowed one run, nine hits, and recorded a combined seven strikeouts in the two games. Fink improved to 16-2 on the season and recorded the team's 12th shutout. She owns an ERA of 1.09. This is Fink's fourth pitcher of the week selection this season and 10th selection of her career.
