Waco Named WIAC x Kwik Trip Athlete of the Week

MADISON, Wis.- LJ Waco was named the WIAC x Kwik Trip baseball pitcher Athlete of the Week on Tuesday morning for the week of April 24-30.

Waco struck out nine against UW-La Crosse on April 29, to improve to 6-0 on the season in eight starts. He allowed no runs on three hits with two walks in 7.0 inning of work. Waco leads the conference with 76 strikeouts and a 2.21 earned run average.
