Nemetz Named WIAC x Kwik Trip Athlete of the Week

MADISON, Wis.- Sydney Nemetz was named the WIAC x Kwik Trip softball pitcher Athlete of the Week on Tuesday morning for the week of April 3-9. This is the fourth week this season that a Titan has been name WIAC Pitcher of the Week (Maddie Fink owns the other three nods).

Nemetz earned her 11th win of the season on Saturday in the nightcap at UW-La Crosse. In the six-inning contest, she went the distance for her sixth complete game of the year, allowing zero runs on three hits while striking out six. Nemetz is now 11-0 this season.
