UW-Oshkosh Titans Announce Change in Women's Golf Program

OSHKOSH, Wis.—Assistant Chancellor, Athletics Darryl Sims has announced a change in the women's golf program, effective June 30, 2023 as Jeremiah Hoffmann will step down as the Titans head coach.

Hoffmann, a 2016 alum of UW-Oshkosh, was named the head coach of the Titans on July 1, 2021, and was the sixth coach in program history.

"It is with mixed emotions that I announce that I am stepping down as the UW-Oshkosh Titans Head Women's Golf Coach," said Hoffmann. "The relationships I have formed with student-athletes, their families, and the athletic department are treasured forever. I am forever grateful to have been a part of the Titan family and I cannot wait to watch the success that is to come for Titan Women's Golf and Titan Athletics."

Hoffmann was the head golf professional at Rolling Meadows Golf Course from 2009-18 and the director of golf at the Mascoutin Golf Club in 2020.

Hoffmann has served in many roles with the UW-Oshkosh satellite campuses. Hoffmann was the director of athletics, head men's basketball coach and head men's golf coach at UW-Oshkosh's Fond du Lac campus from June 2017 to February 2020. He also served as the director of athletics at UW-Oshkosh's Fox Valley campus from May 2019 to February 2020.

Under Hoffmann's leadership, Erika Priebe and Ava Downie earned top finishes at the WIAC Championships in 2021 and 2022.

"I want to first and foremost, thank Jeremiah for his dedication and commitment to our student-athletes," said Sims. "His commitment to our student athletes and passion for golf will be lasting legacies. We wish him the very best as he embarks on his new role."

Hoffmann will become the Director of the Masters of Sports and Recreation Management Program at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee.
