Run In The UW-Oshkosh Titan 5K Charity Fundraiser

The UW-Oshkosh men's and women's cross country programs will host the eighth edition of the Titan 5K on Saturday, August 7, in Oshkosh's Menominee Park.

The Titan 5K has raised over $10,000 for charitable causes. Proceeds from this year's event will benefit the various multicultural retention programs on the UW-Oshkosh campus.

Past events have raised funds and awareness to support victims of human trafficking, citizens of war-torn South Sudan, and people who live with Down Syndrome and Parkinson's Disease.

The Titan 5K is open to the public, all genders, and all ages. The entry fee, which is one of the lowest for any road race in the state, is $15 per runner until July 20. After that date, the registration fee is $20.

All pre-registrants will receive a T-shirt and awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each age group.

The co-ed Titan 5K begins at 8:45 a.m. while the Kiddy Quarter (400-meter race) follows at 10 a.m. The Kiddy Quarter is free for children aged 10 and under.

Participants can also register on the day of the event from 7:30 a.m. - 8:25 a.m. The entry fee on race day is $20 per runner.
