Weather Plays Havoc With UW-Oshkosh Sporting Events
A couple of UW-Oshkosh sporting events scheduled for Saturday (March 27) have been postponed or canceled due to the anticipation of inclement weather.
UW-Oshkosh's nonconference baseball doubleheader at UW-Stevens Point has been moved from Saturday to Sunday (March 28). The first pitch is slated to be thrown at noon from UW-Stevens Point's Zimmermann Field. Both teams enter the doubleheader with 2-2 records.
The UW-Oshkosh women's tennis team has canceled Saturday's nonconference match at the Kolf Sports Center Complex against the Milwaukee School of Engineering. The teams are planning to reschedule the contest this fall. The Titans will take a 0-1 record into their April 7 conference match at UW-Stevens Point.
The UW-Oshkosh men's and women's track & field teams are still scheduled to compete at Saturday's Carroll University Open in Waukesha. The 12-team meet starts at 10:30 a.m. from the Dennis Punches Track & Field Complex.
Only pre-approved spectators will be allowed at the competitions in Stevens Point and Waukesha.
