UW-Oshkosh Reveals Home Spectator Policy For Spring Sports

The UW-Oshkosh Athletics Department has announced its spectator policies for spring sport competitions that it will host during the 2020-21 academic year.

UW-Oshkosh will host events this spring in the sports of baseball, softball, women's soccer, women's tennis and men's and women's track & field. All contests will be conducted in accordance with NCAA Division III and WIAC regulations, as well as institutional, state, and local health and safety guidelines.

Baseball (Tiedemann Field at Alumni Stadium) & Softball (UW-Oshkosh Softball Park)

* Each student-athlete and coach will be allowed two guests. This includes the visiting team.

* Student-athletes and coaches must submit the names of their guests to their designated university official, who will then submit the list through a UW-Oshkosh form by 5 p.m. the day prior to the date of the contest.

* Student-athletes and coaches are not permitted to transfer their guest privileges to another student-athlete or coach. Any violation will result in the loss of all guest privileges for the entire team for the remainder of the season.

* Attendance at games is closed to the public. Any name not on the provided guest list will not be allowed to attend the competition.

* In baseball, spectators will need to check in at the Campbell Creek Road entrance of Tiedemann Field at Alumni Stadium to confirm names on the guest list. The entrance is located behind the left field fence.

* In softball, spectators will need to check in at the main ticket booth entrance of the UW-Oshkosh Softball Park to confirm names on the guest list.

* When UW-Oshkosh hosts baseball games at the Capital Credit Union Park in Ashwaubenon, the UW-Oshkosh spectator policy as stated above will be enforced.

* Any contest held at a neutral location because of weather will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Women's Soccer (Oshkosh Sports Complex)

* Each student-athlete and coach will be allowed two guests. This includes the visiting team.

* Student-athletes and coaches must submit the names of their guests to their designated university official, who will then submit the list through a UW-Oshkosh form by 5 p.m. the day prior to the date of the contest.

* Student-athletes and coaches are not permitted to transfer their guest privileges to another student-athlete or coach. Any violation will result in the loss of all guest privileges for the entire team for the remainder of the season.

* Attendance is closed to the public. Any name not on the provided guest list will not be allowed to attend the competition.

* Spectators will need to check in at the main ticket entrance of the Oshkosh Sports Complex to confirm names on the guest list.

Women's Tennis (Kolf Sports Center Outdoor Courts)

* Spectators will be allowed at outdoor events held at the Kolf Sports Center Complex only. Any event that gets rescheduled to an indoor facility will have no spectators.

Men's and Women's Track & Field (Oshkosh Sports Complex)

* Each student-athlete and coach will be allowed two guests. This includes the visiting team.

* Student-athletes and coaches must submit the names of their guests to their designated university official, who will then submit the list through a UW-Oshkosh form by 5 p.m. the day prior to the date of the contest.

* Student-athletes and coaches are not permitted to transfer their guest privileges to another student-athlete or coach. Any violation will result in the loss of all guest privileges for the entire team for the remainder of the season.

* Attendance is closed to the public. Any name not on the provided guest list will not be allowed to attend the competition.

* Spectators will need to check in at the north entrance of the Oshkosh Sports Complex to confirm names on the guest list.

General Spectator Policies (All Sports)

* Spectators are encouraged not to arrive more than 30 minutes prior to the event's scheduled start time.

* Spectators must observe the institution's seating policies, must remain socially distant and may not interact with any student-athlete while in the competition venue, including bench areas, dugouts, warm-up areas, etc. The only exception is to use the restroom. Signs will be placed throughout the facility as a reminder. Event managers will be on site to address any concerns.

* Spectators will be required to wear masks for all events.

* Food and beverages are not to be consumed at events hosted by UW-Oshkosh. Tailgating is prohibited.

* If social distancing and masking is not followed, spectators will be removed from the facility. Signs will be placed throughout the facility as a reminder. Event managers will be on site to address any concerns.

* Spectators must maintain physical distance from Tier 1 group members (Examples of relevant individuals include student-athletes, coaches, athletic trainers, physical therapists, medical staff, equipment staff and officials).

* Spectators will be asked to depart the competition venue as soon as the event is over. Spectators will not be permitted to meet with student-athletes, coaches, or staff members at the competition venue.

* Spectators should visit the UW-Oshkosh Athletics website (www.uwoshkoshtitans.com) or follow the UW-Oshkosh Athletics Twitter account (@UWOshkoshTitans) for last-minute spectator changes.

* Those who are vaccinated are not exempt from following UW-Oshkosh's policies.

* Spectators are encouraged to check the host institution's policies for UW-Oshkosh away events.

* Policies for spectators at WIAC Championship events will be announced at a later date.

* All policies are subject to change.
