Titans to Host Falcons for Senior Day

OSHKOSH, Wis.—Looking for their seventh consecutive win, the (RV) UW-Oshkosh Titans women's basketball squad is set to host the UW-River Falls Falcons for Senior Day on February 4. The Titans (16-5, 6-4 WIAC) and Falcons (13-8, 3-7 WIAC) are set to tipoff at 3 p.m. inside Kolf Sports Center.

The Titans posted a 64-53 victory over the Falcons on January 7 in River Falls, as the Titans got their first conference win. The Titans have gone on a 5-1 conference win streak since the last meeting.

Outlook on Oshkosh

The Titans are averaging 63.6 points per game. The Titans have the second-best defense in the conference, holding their opponents to 56 points per game. From the field, the Titans are averaging 41.6% from the field which sits at No. 3 in the conference. At the charity stripe, the Titans lead the WIAC at 72.4% from the line. The Titans are averaging 33.9 rebounds, 10.3 assists, 6.1 steals, and 2.7 blocks per game.

Kayce Vaile leads the Titans with 10.4 points and sits in the top-15 for scoring in the WIAC. Jenna Jorgensen and Ava Douglas sit in the top-20 for scoring in the WIAC, averaging 9.3 and 8.8 points per game. Vaile sits at No. 2 in the WIAC for rebounding, averaging 8 boards per game. Sarah Hardwick joins Vaile in the top-10 for rebounding, averaging 5.6 per game. Vaile (FG percentage), Douglas (FT percentage), and Jorgensen (3-pointers per game) all sit in the top-5 in the WIAC.

The Falcons of River Falls are averaging 65 points per game and holding their opponents to 58 points per game. From the field, the Falcons are averaging 38.6% with 22.6 field goals per game. The Falcons lead the WIAC in 3-pointers made per game with 8.1. The Falcons are averaging 38 rebounds per game and 10.9 assists per game.

Macy Nilsen leads the Falcons with 14.6 points per game, sitting at No. 3 in the WIAC for scoring. Nilsen sits in the top-15 rebounding for the WIAC and leads the Falcons with 5.5 rebounds per game. Zoey Buchan leads the WIAC and the Falcons in 3-point percentage, sitting at 42.7% (1.5 3-pointers made per game).
