Titans Race in WIAC Championships

La Crosse, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh cross country teams raced in the WIAC Championships hosted by UW-La Crosse at Maple Grove Venues, LLC on Saturday. The men's team finished in 5th place with 109 points, and the women's team finished in 3rd place with 99 points. 

Men's Results

Steven Potter was the men's top finisher. He crossed the finish line in 25:10.5, earning 9th place. Joseph Kehoe finished second for the Titans, in 14th total with a time of 25:24.9. A third Titan, Cameron Cullen, finished in 26:04.0, good for 28th place. Nine more runners finished outside the top-30 for Oshkosh. Potter and Kehoe both earned All-WIAC second team accolades.

Eduardo Neri earned All-Sportsmanship honors.

Women's Results

Amelia Lehman finished in third overall, with a time of 22:13.2, earning All-WIAC first team honors. Libby Geisness finished in 23:19.6, earning 18th place. Cyna Madigan finished in 21st place with a time of 23:37.3. Meygan Benzing rounded out the top thirty with a time of 23:55.5. Eight more Titans raced on Saturday and finished outside the top-30. Geisness earned All-WIAC honorable mention honors.

Sydney Fricke earned All-Sportsmanship honors.

Looking Forward

The Titans will head to Northfield, Minn. On Nov. 12 to participate in the NCAA Division III North Regional which will be hosted by St. Olaf College (Minn.).
