Titans Headed to WIAC Championships

OSHKOSH, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh cross country teams are heading to the WIAC Championships on Saturday UW-La Crosse is hosting this year's conference championships at Maple Grove Venues, LLC in West Salem. 

The men's begins at 1 p.m. The top seven runners in each race will receive All-WIAC first team honors, the eighth through fourteenth place finishers will receive All-WIAC second team honors and those finishing between 15th and 20th will receive honorable mentions.

National Rankings

The men's team is currently ranked sixth in the North Region, up from seventh in the last ranking.

 

The men's team has the second most titles in conference history behind UW-La Crosse's 36, with ten. They finished in third place last year with 95 points, behind UW-La Crosse (31) and UW-Whitewater (36). Steven Potter finished in eleventh place in last year's conference championship, earning All-WIAC second team honors. In 2019, he finished in thirteenth place, earning All-WIAC second team honors. Potter and Joe Kehoe have both been strong runners this year, finishing in the top-25 in two races.
