Seventh Annual Oshcars Award Winners Announced

An evening of athletic achievements, academic accomplishments and community service was celebrated when the UW-Oshkosh Athletics Department hosted the seventh annual Oshcars Monday at the Culver Family Welcome Center on UW-Oshkosh’s campus.
50th Hall Of Fame Class To Feature Record 14 Inductees

The UW-Oshkosh Athletics Hall of Fame increases its membership to 255 when a record 14 men and women are inducted Friday, August 2 at the Culver Family Welcome Center on the UW-Oshkosh campus.
Hall Of Fame Inductee: Patrick Cerroni

Offering transcending lessons to his student-athletes and coaching staff in integrity, leadership, personal excellence, teamwork and community involvement, Patrick Cerroni spearheaded a program revival by winning more games, capturing more conference championships and earning more national postseason appearances than any other head football coach in UW-Oshkosh history.
Hall Of Fame Inductee: James J. Keller

Inducted into the UW-Oshkosh Athletics Hall of Fame from the Distinguished Service Category, James J. Keller is an esteemed and cherished Fox Valley resident who has contributed significantly to the advancement of the UW-Oshkosh athletics program in a broad spectrum of areas over a long period of time.

Nick Boehlke had an exceptional career, claiming five All-America awards and seven conference titles, as a member of the UW-Oshkosh men’s cross country and track & field programs from 2001-06.

Compiling one of the lowest career earned run averages in WIAC history, All-American Chad Kopitzke enjoyed a spectacular three seasons as a member of the UW-Oshkosh baseball program from 1991-93.

Nadine (Pieske) Schuette established numerous conference, school and facility records along her way to running to one national title and 10 All-America awards as a distinguished member of the UW-Oshkosh women’s track & field program from 2004-07.

A two-time national champion and both an eight-time All-American and conference champion, Phil Devine assembled a diving resume that is the finest in WIAC history.

One of the most prolific performers in the history of the UW-Oshkosh softball program, Robin (Schmidt) Schunke achieved four all-conference and three all-region awards during her career as a Titan from 1997-2000.

One of only five three-time All-Americans in the history of the UW-Oshkosh women’s volleyball program, Leah (Rosenbaum) Cisler had an extremely decorated career while helping the Titans to three NCAA Division III postseason appearances and a pair of WIAC championships from 2004-07.
