Feitl, Titans Win Red Hawk Invite

RIPON, Wis.- Gwen Feitl (So. • Wheaton, Ill.) won the three-team Ripon College Red Hawk Invite on Thursday (Nov. 2) with a time of 24:34. 18.

The UW-Oshkosh women's cross country team also earned the team title with 23 points. UW-Stevens Point followed in second with 51 points and Ripon finished third with 59.

Liv Schwarm (Jr. • Madison) grabbed second, finishing the 6,000-meter course in a career-best 25:19.21.

Also contributing team points were Ella Galaszewski (So. • West Allis) in fifth at a career-best 25:50.67, Kate Haffner (Fr. • Darien, Ill.) in sixth at a season-best 25:52.75 and Dana Valdez-Berber (Fr. • Summit) in ninth at 26:00.90.

Allison Van Der Wegen (Fr. • Kaukauna) and Carleigh Kaczmarek (Fr. • Oconto Falls) ran as the Titans' sixth and seventh runners. They finished in 26:02.17 and 26:03.60, respectively.
