APPLETON, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh women's cross country team finished third at the Lawrence Gene Davis Invitational on Saturday (Oct. 7).

Amelia Lehman (Jr. • Oshkosh) led the Titans in the 6,000-meter race with a sixth place finish in 22:59. 

Libby Geisness took  (Jr. • Waukesha), Gwen Feitl (So. • Wheaton, Ill.), MacKenzie Dix (So. • Green Bay), Emma Maly (Fr. • Clinton), Paige Hagner (Jr. • Mukwonago), Julia Strasser (Jr. • South Milwaukee), Liv Schwarm (Jr. • Madison), Dana Valdez-Berber (Fr. • Summit), Ella Galaszewski (So. • West Allis), Katelyn Puetz (Jr. • Waterford), Carleigh Kaczmarek (Fr. • Oconto Falls), Maddie Bertram  (Jr. • Winnebago, Ill.), Savannah Hardy (Fr. • Hillsboro), Lexi Hall (Fr. • Bettendorf, Iowa), and Lauren Young (Jr. • Germantown) all beat their personal season record.

Geisness placed 16th in 24:01, Feitl placed 18th in 24:10, Dix placed 20th in 24:30, Maly placed 21st in 24:37, Hagner placed 32nd in 25:14, Strasser placed 40th in 25:34, Schwarm placed 41st in 25:34, Valdez-Berber placed 43rd in 25:43, Galaszewski placed 47th in 25:53, Puetz placed 48th in 25:54, Kaczmarek 51st in 26:04, Bertram 60th in 26:50, Hardy 78th in 27:34, Hall 87th in 28:41, and Young 93rd in 29:13.

Other Titans Allison Van Der Wegen placed 22nd in 24:41, Meygan Benzing placed 67th in 27:00, and Kate Haffner placed 77th in 27:33.

Dasha Vorontsov won the Individual title in 21:45, Leah Remiker in 22:29 for second, both of Wisconsin Track Club, and Ali Denamur from Ripon College in 22:42 for third.

Ripon won the team title with 32 points with Lawrence following closely behind in second with 33 points.

The Titans will return to action on Friday, Oct. 14 for the Augustana College Interregional Invite. The women's race begins at 12:30 p.m., following the men's race that will begin at 11:45 a.m.
