Titans finish eighth, Lehman 12th at North Regional
NORTHFIELD, Minn.- The UW-Oshkosh women's cross country team ran in the NCAA Division III North Regional Championships on Saturday, hosted by St. Olaf College (Minn.). The Titans finished eighth of 33 ranked teams, with 255 points.
Amelia Lehman was the Titans' top finisher, taking 12th with a time of 22:35.4.
Lehman was followed by Cyna Madigan, who ran in 23:25.2, finishing in 41st place.
Other Titans competitors in Saturday's meet were Libby Geisness Josie Makurat, Lauren Urban, Meygan Benzing and Sydney Fricke. Geisness finished 53rd in 23:51.6, Makurat 66th in 24:01.2, Urban 83rd in 24:21.9, Benzing 90th in 24:28.2 and Fricke 120th in 25:02.6.
The Titans will wait for a potential at large bid in the NCAA Division III national championship selection show, which airs Sunday on NCAA.com. 32 teams will be selected for the championship. 10 will automatically qualify (one per region, from regional championships) while the remaining 22 will be picked at large.
