Titans Paced By Urban At Red Hawk Open

Lauren Urban finished sixth and Logan Krogwold seventh to lead the UW-Oshkosh women's cross country team at the Ripon College Red Hawk Open Friday (Nov. 5) at the Tuscumbia Golf Course in Green Lake.

Urban earned her sixth-place listing among the meet's 22 runners by completing the 6,000-meter course with a time of 25:23.39. Krogwold followed Urban with her seventh-place time of 25:50.03.

UW-Stevens Point owned the top five individual performances as Ashley Spatz finished first with a time of 24:29.79, Olivia Greymont second in 24:41.84, Olivia Franklin third in 25:05.89, Emma Guenther fourth in 25:06.97 and Vanessa Olson fifth in 25:16.07.

UW-Oshkosh also had Lauren Young finish 11th with a time of 26:49.21, Paige Larson 12th in 27:06.79, Julia Strasser 14th in 27:24.32 and Olivia Schwarm 16th in 27:57.85.

UW-Stevens Point won the three-team meet with a perfect score of 15 points. UW-Oshkosh finished second to the Pointers with 46 points and Ripon College third with 79. All three teams rested their top runners in preparation for next Saturday's (Nov. 13) NCAA Division III North Regional at the Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax.
