Noone Claims WIAC Cross Country Athlete Of The Week Award

The WIAC voted UW-Oshkosh's Evlyn Noone as its Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for meets held Sept. 17-23.

Noone finished second among 32 runners as UW-Oshkosh won the four-team Titan Fall Classic on Sept. 21 at the Lake Breeze Golf Club in Winneconne.

Noone completed the 6,000-meter course in a time of 22:49. She was the first of four UW-Oshkosh runners to occupy the second through fifth-place finishes.

Unattached runner and former Titan Cheyenne Moore was awarded the meet's individual title with a time of a 22:10.

UW-Oshkosh scored 18 points to run away with the team victory. Lawrence University finished second to the Titans with 53 points while Ripon College placed third with 57 and Illinois Institute of Technology fourth with 108.
