Trautmann Earns Fourth WIAC Weekly Volleyball Award

For the fourth time this season, UW-Oshkosh's Mandy Trautmann was chosen by the WIAC as its Women's Volleyball Player of the Week.

Trautmann's latest recognition was matches held Oct. 26 - Nov. 1. The defensive specialist also received the award this season for the periods of Aug. 31-Sept. 6, Sept. 28-Oct. 4 and Oct. 5-11.

Trautmann amassed 59 digs (7.38 per set), seven assists and three service aces as UW-Oshkosh defeated Marian University, UW-River Falls and UW-Stout in 3-0 scores. The victories over UW-River Falls and UW-Stout earned the Titans a share of the WIAC championship with UW-La Crosse.

Trautmann tallied 15 digs, five assists and two service aces against Marian University on Oct. 28. She then counted 18 digs against UW-River Falls on Oct. 30 and 26 digs and one service ace against UW-Stout on Oct. 31.

The WIAC chose outside hitter Leah Putzier of UW-La Crosse as its Offensive Player of the Week.
